At VK Wellness, we are proud to offer specialized mental health services for Canadian Veterans and their families. Whether you’re transitioning to civilian life, navigating trauma, or supporting a loved one who served, you’re not alone.
Our counsellor, Henrik is an experienced Registered Social Worker (RSW) and an approved Critical Care Manager (CCM) for Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC). He offers confidential, trauma-informed therapy to veterans and their families across British Columbia and virtually throughout Canada.
Support Tailored to Veterans’ Needs
Henrik offers support with:
- PTSD and operational stress injuries (OSI)
- Substance use and addiction
- Transition to civilian life
- Grief and loss
- Depression, anxiety, and trauma
- Men’s mental health and identity
- Relationship and family challenges
- Cultural and intergenerational trauma
Sessions are grounded in relational, somatic, and trauma-focused approaches, with a strong respect for your experience and pace.
Henrik speaks English and Swedish and offers both virtual and in-person appointments in British Columbia.
VAC Coverage & Direct Billing
As a VAC-approved provider, Henrik can work directly with Veterans Affairs Canada to support your care. We offer direct billing to VAC for eligible clients.
If you’re already connected with a VAC Case Manager, you can request a referral to Henrik at VK Wellness as your Critical Care Manager.
