• Jillian Allan, OT, Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Jillian (Jill) recently graduated from Dalhousie University’s School of Occupational Therapy master’s program in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is a graduate of Brooks Secondary School and completed her bachelor’s degree in Sport, Health, and Physical Education at Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo.

Jill was fortunate to work in the pediatrics department at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital for one of her fieldwork experiences. She greatly valued learning alongside therapists in this environment and having the opportunity to support children and families. For the last two years Jill has worked as an occupational therapist with children ages 0-18 on Vancouver Island, and has trained with The Get Permission Institute, a responsive approach that incorporates playful sensory based strategies to support children. Jill loves playing soccer, mountain biking, music, paddling, snow sports, and spending time outdoors with her dog Juniper. Jill has worked in a variety of roles with children and youth with a wide range of abilities and she is very excited to work in the beautiful area of qathet.
