    Cherie is registered with the Canadian Association of Natural Nutritional Practitioners and the British Columbia Parks and Recreation Association (BCRPA) as a Supervisor of Fitness Leaders (SFL).

    Cherie has been working in the health and wellness field for over 17 years as a Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, Holistic Nutritionist and Life Coach. After leaving her career in Sales & Marketing to stay at home with her children, she developed a passion for motivating and inspiring others to reach her goals through simple and easy lifestyle changes.

    When we made the decision for me to leave my career and stay home with the children, the thought of not working was daunting. I spent many years working on my own challenges from childhood trauma and clinical depression to ensure my children would grow up with a mom who was happy and excited about every day she was with them. The thought of having that much time on my hands did not do well for my mental health. I then made the decision to become a fitness instructor; as I could work around my children’s schedule and help others grow like I did, by making some simple changes in my lifestyle.

    My approach to overall wellness starts with you, as an individual. What you can incorporate into your lives to ensure your overall success. Similar to how therapy sessions that improve how you can see the world and your life, changing the way you treat your body can substantially change the way you see and feel about yourself.

    The assessments I do are based on your life and your personal challenges to ensure your success. We start slow, make small changes and follow you through your journey and make adjustments that work for you personally or for your family as a whole.

    Changing my lifestyle including my food and workouts has helped me wake up happy (almost) every morning – we all have our days. It has helped me get off my anti-depressants for 15 years and it has helped me be grateful for the body I have been given and my love for helping others achieve their health and wellness goals.
