For more information on how mindfulness is used as an intervention strategy for treatment check out our mindfulness resources.
We offer the following mindfulness based programs
1. 6-Week Individual Mindfulness Intervention
In this individual mindfulness intervention program you will receive an introduction to mindfulness as a health strategy. The program includes 4 in-person or online sessions using mindfulness and cognitive behaviour therapy approaches to support your personal, mental health, or other health goals. The program is individually tailored to meet your specific needs. This means the mindfulness practices that are introduced are chosen and facilitated in a way that should help you.
Our clinicians are certified in clinical mindfulness based treatments (see Kara’s Profile here) and are likely covered by your extended health benefits and other funding sources.
2. Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
MBCT is an 8-week clinical group based therapy program that uses Mindfulness as a CBT strategy to reshape how we think to treat many clinical experiences. It is also ideal for individuals under high stress. We run this group a few times per year.
