Prenatal/Postpartum Massage: Prenatal massage is therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. It enhances the function of muscles and joints, improves circulation and general body tone, and relieves mental and physical fatigue. Postpartum massage is a full body massage that occurs within the first 12 weeks after you give birth to your baby. Benefits include pain relief, stress reduction, and relaxation.
Initial assessment allows time to collect full history, discuss area of concern, assessment, treatment goal setting, treatment plan and hands on time.
